首屆聯(lián)合國(guó)“海洋十年”海洋城市大會(huì)將于2025年2月25日—27日在青島西海岸新區(qū)嘉年華大酒店舉辦，大會(huì)由聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織政府間海洋學(xué)委員會(huì)、青島市人民政府主辦，青島西海岸新區(qū)管委、“海洋十年”國(guó)際合作中心承辦，主題為“海洋讓城市更美好”。

The First Ocean Decade International Coastal Cities Conference will be held from February 25 to 27, 2025 at the Carnival Hotel in Qingdao West Coast New Area. The conference is hosted by the city of Qingdao Municipality in collaboration with the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO, organized by Qingdao West Coast New Area Management Committee and Ocean Decade International Cooperation Center, China. The theme of the conference is: "Better Ocean, Better City."

本次大會(huì)是聯(lián)合國(guó)“海濱之城”平臺(tái)正式啟動(dòng)后首個(gè)重大活動(dòng)，也是2025年聯(lián)合國(guó)海洋大會(huì)的會(huì)前特別活動(dòng)。大會(huì)旨在凝聚海洋城市及各利益攸關(guān)方關(guān)于海洋城市與海洋科學(xué)發(fā)展的共識(shí)為目標(biāo)，通過(guò)呼吁更多的海洋城市、港口、“海洋十年”行動(dòng)和其他利益攸關(guān)方加入和支持“海濱之城”平臺(tái)，加強(qiáng)知識(shí)交流和經(jīng)驗(yàn)分享，推動(dòng)建立新的伙伴關(guān)系，共同設(shè)計(jì)和提供基于科學(xué)的海洋城市可持續(xù)發(fā)展解決方案，促進(jìn)全球?qū)υ捄蛯?shí)踐。

This conference marks the first major event since the official launch of the "Cities with the Ocean" platform and serves as a pre-event for the 2025 UN Ocean Conference. The goal of the conference is to unite coastal cities and stakeholders around a shared understanding of the development of coastal cities and ocean science. It aims to encourage more coastal cities, ports, Decade Actions, and other related stakeholders to join and support the "Cities with the Ocean" platform. The event will strengthen knowledge exchange and experience sharing, promote the establishment of new partnerships, and jointly design and deliver science-based sustainable development solutions for coastal cities, fostering global dialogue and action.
